Concrete Color Stain (also known as PreStain) is a water-based, penetrating color system that provides rich, lasting color on exterior, interior and below grade concrete, masonry and X-Bond Microcement surfaces. This environmentally responsible system penetrates into the pores of the cementitous surface, to create a long-lasting and colorful surface, resulting in a translucent color finish which allows the variation and natural movement of the concrete to be visible through the stain.
PreStain Color penetrates deep into the pores of your cementitious surface to create a long lasting and colorful surface. In addition it solidifies crumbling surfaces. Unlike competitors SEMCO’s PreStain Color is proven to last through all kinds of climates, conditions and traffic.
The Stain etches to the surface of the concrete resulting in a translucent color finish which allows the trowel marks, variation and natural movement of the concrete to be visible through the stain. Pre-Stain is not like a paint which is a solid color that totally covers visibility of the substrate.
